Make Bankruptcy or Forgiveness an Option for Students Buried in Private Student Loans

Created by Z.T. on September 26, 2011

Private and large Corporate Banks have spent millions lobbying congress to pass laws making Private Student Loan forgiveness/repayment even less flexible than government student loans. The Corporate Banks Carelessly and Recklessly handed out tens of thousands of dollars to students who now cannot find jobs. If a graduate is lucky enough to find a job there is no way a 30k salary will allow that student to pay these loans back on top of what they have borrowed from the government in pursuit of a better life.

Private Student Loan forgiveness/repayment options need to be regulated in line with government student loans with no favoritism for large corporate bank agendas!
