Make banks bail out main street

The American public bailed out the banking system when wall street, due to it's own misguided efforts and foolish risk-taking, was on the brink of destruction. Now, the American public is on that same brink, due to our generosity towards wall street, and the banks are in a position to return the favor. Make them bail out our economy, as we did for them, and pay it back over years, as they did with us - with no guarantee of eventual payback; the same risk we were forced to take with the banks.
