Make better guidelines for 3rd part debt collectors to follow after validating debts & what constitues a legal validatio

Created by K.P. on December 01, 2011

The Federal Fair Trade Act is vague on what Constitues a Valid reponse for Debt Validation and the time frame a Debitor has to respond to the notice of a Validation and the time they can file for a judgement. With the economy in a shambles and many who once wre good debitors now facing a challange with 3rd party collectors. Give Debitors more leagl timeframes that the collectors should follow before filling for a judgement.

Right now the law does not describe what a valid valadation of debt is. What time frame a creditor has to respon to a request to validation, or once the creditor complies with the request for the validaton -the time the debitor has to reply and work out a payment. These are important and would be fair.
