Make Better Home Loans and Services Available to Veterans. No Veteran Should Ever Be in Danger of Losing His/Her Home.

Created by L.W. on July 28, 2013

Require the Dept. of Veterans Affairs to put on its website a list of VA home loan lenders, by state, and by VA loan type (Purchase, Cash Out, IRRRL, or NADL), who meet the following criteria:
1. The lender must be in good standing with the federal government and with any state government the lender conducts business in; and
2. The lender must have a B or higher rating with the Better Business Bureau.

The VA must also acknowledge any lender listed to be reputable for providing VA loans and quality service.

The problem is that it is hard for veterans to determine which VA home loan lenders are legit and which ones are predatory. Quite frankly, it is very daunting and like playing Russian Roulette. This list would help veterans feel much more comfortable selecting a reputable lender.
