Birth Control is ridiculously expensive and difficult or scary to come by. With the amount of "religious" protesting in front of many Planned Parenthood buildings, women are scared to get what they need to feel safe. Not only that, but some women feel judged or ridiculed just because they want to develop a financially secure life before considering children.
Teen pregnancies continue to increase in the US, especially in the southern states.
If birth control were free and easy to get, the number of abortions would decrease exponentially. Not to mention that women would have children on purpose and the infants would be born into loving and prepared families.
