The manned missions to the moon were perhaps one of the United States of America's greatest achievements , and an important milestone of humanity becoming a spacefaring civilization. The science used to plot the course between the moon and back to the Earth, as well as orbital rendezvous and the landing itself were all based on the laws discovered by Isaac Newton.
Without the work of Isaac Newton, we as a nation could not have a successful space program. We would like to petition for the creation of a national holiday on Isaac Newton's birthday, December 25th.
