Make body cameras mandatory for all police officers to wear while on duty.

Created by N.C. on November 25, 2014

The vast majority of people, and police are law abiding and fully invested in the safe functioning of the Government and society. However in the wake of these violent protests, riots, and shootings. Police accountability is something that needs to be addressed. Protests are becoming more violent, and police departments are arming themselves in response. We as Americans should know better. Arms races don't solve problems, they merely cause more tension and the possibility of violence. Like most controversial trails and cases, we will never know what really happened between Michael Brown and Officer Wilson, and therein lies the fundamental problem. A public shooting, in broad daylight, multiple eyewitness accounts, and no consensus on what actually transpired.

Let's fix this.
