We the undersigned do hereby respectfully request that the book "War is a Racket" by retired United States Marine Corps Major General Smedley Butler required reading material for all high school seniors (12th graders) in the United States, including at least one day of classroom discussion on what they just read, teaching them how the world really works and a test/quiz to ensure they understand the content, before they are eligible to graduate and enter their adulthood life. The graduating students would then be able to better serve their country and world by knowing how the world of politics, economics, warfare, and trade actually functions, allowing them a better opportunity to choose college courses and become a productive citizen.
