Youths (including college students) across America endure bullying everyday due to an unending list of horrible reasons. Some miss school in fear of what fresh hell they might face from their classmates.
Half of the suicides among 10-14 year-olds are caused by bullying. I, as well as many other people across the world, strongly believe that bullying should be considered a hate crime. Hate crimes are punishable by law. Children who drive other children to kill themselves with relentless tormenting whether it's in real life or over social media should be charged with a hate crime.
It needs to stop.
