With the rising tensions in the country more and more prostesters have burned the American Flag as an example of the 1st Amendment. Unfortunately this is an act of treason and inactment of a civil war. With not only the danger of harming civilians in the immediate area due to burns, but to the emotional responce of war veterans, their family members and/or any US citizen. I am asking, along with the people who sign this, for congress to pass a law to make burning the American Flag in a public space illegal. Not only is that disrespectful to those who gave their lives for their freedoms but to the US citizens working and contributing to the well being of the country. Its time to change the disrespectful protests of this time into change. We need our patriotism back. Thank you.
