Make the CDC explain why their position on circumcision is so different from other developed nations

On a daily basis parents are making the decision to cut their son's penis, based on the policies of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), which seem to promote circumcision. However, both the CDC and AAP ignore the human rights issues at play, and don't even mention the long-term harms associated with amputating an integral part of the male genitalia. Please make the CDC review their policy, and respond to the many questions being asked, such as: Why is our policy so different from that of other developed nations? Why are the long-term harms overlooked? How can it be ethical to promote unnecessary surgery on infants? Is it not irresponsible to tell people that circumcision can reduce the risk of STD contraction? And many more...
