We will finally put one of the amazing women of America's rich history on paper money. While all Americans should be able to celebrate this newfound recognition for more of our great citizens, there is a huge problem.
While Women on 20's fought to put a woman on the $20 bill, the treasury thinks she is better off sharing the $10 bill.
Doesn't Harriet Tubman, the favorite of Women on 20's, deserve her own place on the $20 bill--unlike Andrew Jackson, who was responsible for genocide against our Native Americans? Why should she share the $10 bill with Alexander Hamilton, the founder of the bank?
Shouldn't great Americans get their own recognition?
