Broadband pricing is an issue that doesn't get enough attention. All over the United States there are only few options for broadband providers. The providers are charging internet users high priced internet for poor quality.
With little networks available, the big internet provider companies are able to monopolize web access due to little competition.
If more networks can be set up for smaller companies to build their services. It would be a start for more providers to appear and be able to enter the competition right away offering their services at lower prices, but can also give more variety of internet speed options.
Not only will setting up the networks help, changing the internet into a basic utility such as water or electricity will too.
This is an opportunity for advancement.
