Dear President Obama, the Representatives of the House and Senate,
This is a petition in response to the insurgence of overly aggressive policing. As we have have witnessed, individual biases plaque our nation and the communities trust with police officers. In result, we are seeing a hinderance in the officers ability to protect and serve our communities. In order to establish a better relationship with the community, officers should: 1) be required to undergo quarterly psychological and diversity evaluations on all levels, if refused this will affect the officers ability to be promoted and any bonuses. 2) Reinstate residency laws on the local level, 3) Mandate officers to wear microphones and body cameras. We must show the nation that we can heal from police brutality.
