Currently, when applying for work, companies are not required to acknowledge the application and/or resume of the applicant. If you are notified that they are at least interested, you get a phone interview and maybe a time and date for an actual interview. After the interview process is complete and you are not selected, all they have to tell the applicant is that you were not selected. I am asking for reasons as to why I am being overlooked for positions that I am fully qualified to perform. I believe that many times I am not selected is because of age, and of course, this is illegal. But, there are ways that companies can bypass this and choose other words for non-selection.
