Make changes on how unemployment benefits claim are being handled. Claim should be paid within 2 weeks of termination.

Created by S.S. on February 08, 2012

When someone is laid off from their job, they should be paid thier unemployment benefits within two weeks after they are approved. The more someone wait, for example I waited for six weeks after the telephone interview before receiving the first week pay, the more they feel hopeless in the administration, feeling no one cares about how the people feel, and I know that is not the case. Something has to be done just when someone is in need, not when the person is thrown out of their homes, no food, etc. before finally receiving any sort of help.
