As the DMCA law stands, businesses are capable of, and have already used false take-down notices to shut down negative reviews, opposing views, and fair use creative works instantly with no repercussion.
This is an affront to freedom of speech, one of our nation's most dearly held freedoms. The law needs to be looked into and modified so that it cannot be used as a consequence free form of attack.
