The food stamp program needs to be reformed. This is suppose to be a temporary assistance program that helps you. Today, people are dependent on this program. People can buy junk food, sodas, and even alcohol in some places. There needs to be stricter guidelines to insure there are no loop holes for people that do not need this assistance. The funding also needs to be reduced. The amounts given are way more than enough for a whole month.
