make child adoption affordable.

Created by A.S. on March 06, 2016

Statistics prove that every day over 5,000 children become orphans. They are passed on to foster care, in the hopes that a family relative will take custody of the child or the child will be adopted. Each year, an estimated 20,000 young people “age out” of the U.S. foster care system. There are so many couples that struggle to conceive and resort to child adoption. The average amount that a child adoption costs is around $30,000, depending on the circumstances. With so many children needing a stable environment with a family that is able to fulfill their needs, people with lower incomes should have the opportunity pursue adoption as well. After all, the objective is to do what is best for the child, an amount of money should not determine that.
