Make the "Child Adoption Law of 2000 retroactive" This law discriminates against children adopted before 1983.

Created by G.D. on March 07, 2012

Make retroactive-The "Child Adoption Law of 2000" discriminates against children adopted prior to 1983 while allowing children adopted after this period 'Automatic Citizenship'. This law excludes children who turned 18 years of age prior to February 2001. This is not a fair law and excludes tax paying, community and law abiding adopted children prior to 1983 from automatically becoming citizens just as those adopted after 1986.

This law causes major issues and in some cases has led to the termination of an adopted child (prior to 1983) who thought to be US Citizens.
