Make Chinese New Year an official holiday of the United States of America to celebrate Asian heritage.

Created by D.C. on January 30, 2014

The Chinese New Year is not just celebrated by the Chinese Americans, but all East Asian people celebrates Chinese New Year. Since USA have such a rich and prosperous East Asian population, we believe the time is right to celebrate such heritage with a national holiday. We ask for this to be a national Holiday because it is a day to spend with family members, it is the equivalent of Thanksgiving but much more, it is a day of celebration of all the new and wonderful things that happens and can expected to happen in the upcoming new year.
