I would like to see christmas eve become a national holiday. I have to work on christmas eve every year and so do more and more young parents.Here and some of my reasons: 1. I believe that christmas eve could be a chance to spend more time with our families 2. finish christmas decorations 3. finish shopping 4. get a jumpstart on cooking for christmas day 5. put more money into our economy from consumer spending rather than being at work. This petition is not asking for much and I know there are alot of junk petitions on here, I hope that maybe this idea I have will be seen and taken on so that president obama can consider this. I want to spend more time with my family and making christmas eve a national holiday would make that happen.
