Cigarettes should be illegal for many reasons. 1) They are a serious health risk to the user and those around the user. 2) cigarettes damage organs and force the user to apply for a transplant, drastically lowering the number of organs available for transplant. 3) The tobacco companies spend billions on lobbying to make sure this product does not get banned, thus corrupting several politicians. 4) They are highly addictive causing the user to create a natural resistance against the poison, making the user use more cigarettes to get the same feeling. This causes people to lose thousands of dollars on something that is slowly killing them.
