Lets make our city a safe place to live again
Lets ban all sex offender from living in the city limits of Eugene, Oregon. What would you do if you moved into a home that you found on craigslist and your roommate started sexually harassing you? Then you find out he is in fact a registered sex offender but according to Oregon laws he doesn't have to tell you, his neighbors, or the school he lives less that 3 blocks from, when you make police reports the police never respond or make their way out to the address. That has happened to me and I am completely outraged! I demand that these laws protecting sex offenders are changed!! They should not be protected BY LAW INFORCEMENT AND THE FBI !! This incident has caused me to lose faith in the ability of the American government to protect me!!
