There is a growing issue in this nation, and most people can hardly stomach the intolerance or complete ignorance demonstrated by people that we are suppose to trust with our well-being.
For example, Christopher Byrd - the attorney with the DEP's Office of General Counsel in Tallahassee from 2008 to 2013 - was told "not to use the terms 'climate change' or 'global warming.'" The government in Florida could have just asked asked Christopher Byrd to disregard his education and continue to do his job.
Furthermore, actions that have been taking in North Carolina over recent years - more particularly their "ban on sea-level rise" - is more than concerning when the East Coast is going to be facing some of the worst climate variations in the future.
