Climate change and the resulting environmental catastrophes threaten our world, and more importantly the world of our children.
This issue should be in the foreground of any responsible policy discussion. This administration has a responsibility to the earth and her inhabitants to make real strides in affecting this problem.
Carbon tax, global initiatives, partnerships with the coal, oil, natural gas, and fossil fuel industries to clean up their industries and to more rapidly switch to cleaner energies. The science is out there. The solutions have been proposed. It only takes courage and leadership from this great country to initiate the change that will effect the world.
Again, this should be the number one priority, because without a healthy planet, none of this other stuff matters.
