I find CNN's coverage of the Steubenville rape trial utterly disgusting. Rape-apologists are disgusting excuses for humanity, and CNN should feel ashamed for claiming that these RAPISTS are the victims here. The true victim is the poor girl those boys raped.
I request here, on this public domain, that CNN release a formal apology to that poor girl for calling her rapists, victims.
In this day and age it is horrendous that such a terrible thing can happen to a girl, and media outlets such as they will make apologies for her rapists, and essentially blame the victim for ruining her rapists' lives.
This is a huge issue, and we need to take a stand on victim-shaming right here and now.
