Historically, tea has been linked to the British and was a source of conflict in the colonies during the late 1700's. It has been rumored that Thomas Jefferson wanted coffee, tea's opposite, to be the official drink of America and freedom. Since coffee is an extremely popular drink in our American culture historically and today, this petition should be supported.
