Private student loan payments are becoming unreasonable and also most of the time do not qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. This petition will force the White House into looking at the injustice in higher education loans. The American people need to be able to afford college, and afford loan payments afterwards. Asking recent graduates to pay very high loan amounts is unacceptable. The private loan companies need to work with the public better in order to lower payments and provide more options.
