This petition is to make college tuition tax deductible. As the cost of higher education continues to grow, tax deductible tuition is one simple solution to alleviate this massive financial burden. To maintain the United States' high level of post-secondary education rates along with the innovation that the United States is so well known for, we must continue to keep our students in the classroom. The rising costs of a college education is making this much harder to do. The massive debt that students incur only serves to lower the economic output of these students once they are out of their post-secondary institution. Tax-deductible tuition would help alleviate the hardships placed upon students.
