make the common core state education standards equal in all states and have the same state tests in all states.

Created by A.G. on April 17, 2013

The common core standards are the same in all states, but all states do not carry out these standards in the form of testing in the same way. For Example, in New York; they may assign a four book common core test over three days, 90 minutes to take the test each day; but in Rhode Island, they may assign 2 books with 60 minutes each day. This leads to Rhode Island and New York not having equal testing formats, which can lead to differences in education; which in effect, destroys the propose of common core. The federal government should create these tests, not the states themselves.
