This petition is being created to make the Congress see that the average American citizen is tired of the mentality that politicians are doing "us" a favor by serving. Congress should be held to the same standards as the common man and woman. All pensions need to be revoked, and may be contributed just like the rest of us. Health care for Congress will be the same as it is for the rest of us. Lobbyist and special interest groups will cease to be able to provide any item of value to a congressman or woman. The one's who make the laws should not be exempt from laws. Cuts in Congress are never the first thing looked at.
