This petition is to make congress and the POTUS adhere to certain bill creation requirements:
1. A ten-page limit on bills to keep out filler, pork and “sweeteners”.
2. Keep words of bill simple that someone with less then high school diploma or GED can actually read and understand it.
3. The only thing that can go in the bill is what is actually on the title of the bill.
4. Title of bill must be kept to 150 characters.
5. Bill must be posted for public display on website for 3 months for citizen to read prior to the vote.
Government is making it so hard for the people to understand any bill that is being brought up for vote. They can’t make a well educated guess on whether to tell their congressman or senator to vote yes or no. This needs to stop.
