The working class of America (one daresays 'the People') consider a normal working day 40 hours of labor. Why, in the most trying of times, does Congress, the Senate, and the Supreme Court get so much time where they're not working. The job of the President is 24/7. Is it outlandish to ask for Congress and the Supreme court to give 8/5? This petition is to restrict the recess of the Court and both houses of the legislative branch to federal holidays, and perhaps 2 weeks (like the vacation that many Americans get) of elective recess to each senator/congressman/justice. The people give their labor to the nation, it's time the elected officials (or appointed in the case of the Supreme Court) do as well.
