Permanently ban the use of paid lobbiests for the purpose of writing legislation.
Congress should be made to do its own work. Congressional staff should take information from constituents, be it directly or through lobbiests, and write legislation for consideration before the House and Senate.
It should be illegal to submit legislation written by individuals who are not members of Congress or those directly employed by members of Congress for consideration before Congress.
