The purpose of this petition is to bring attention to the growing income inequality that exist in the United States. A full time employee working on federal minimum wage is still living below the proverty line. In one of the riches countries on earth this is shameful. Our members of congress should have to experience the burdens that everyday americans feel. This petition hopefully will bring insight into the people's congress, and force action on this question.
