This petition allows Congress and the Senate to introduce a bill that only allows one item on it. No riders in any form are permitted. The originator is shown on the bill, a debate of pro and against, and then a straight up or down vote showing who voted for and who voted against it that would be published in a national paper or on a special website. There would not be a need to read through hundreds of pages. Short simple and to the point and these bills could be read and voted on in a much more reasonable and timely fashion. No more fouling up good ideas with pork. If Congress and the Senate really want to solve the deficit and get the country healed, start with this.
I am so frustrated in seeing rider after rider, pork after pork added to bills.
