I have seen people in Congress for a few decades and that is not what our Founding Fathers envisioned. They envisioned people with bright, new, innovative ideas that represented the people that voted for them but also came to the table, discussed the issues, and compromised. Congress has failed at this. They continue to be in gridlock, fighting over every piece of legislation like it is the end of the world. It is time that we stop having the do nothing Congress.
We propose limiting the US Senators to two terms for a total of 12 years and the US Representatives to 4 terms for a total of 8 years.
Since the President of the United States is limited to two years for a total of 8 years, so should Congress be on term limits as well.
It is time "We the People" ran this country!!
