Members of congress take frequent vacations, and are taking advantage of their salaried position to provide sub-par legislative performance.
As a response to this, we should take the following punitive measures to incentivize their performance:
(1) Make them hourly employees, requiring them to clock in and out when they arrive at work in order to get paid.
(2) Congress members working less than 30 hours a week do not meet the Affordable Healthcare Act's guidelines to be considered "Full-time" employees and should therefore be ineligible for their full healthcare plan.
(3) Limit days off for congresspersons to the national average (The following are approximations: 21 days at 5 years experience, 25 days at 10 years, 27 days at 25 years).
