United States Military Members defend our freedoms for low wages, poor working conditions, poor benefits. Congress works only part of the year, has educational benefits extended to family members and never has had to face being shot at, blown up or living in inhumane conditions away from their families for the promise of after 20 years you'll receive 50% of your pay which works out to less than minimum wage. It's time to stop Congressional pay raises and benefits and start putting that money into the men and women who really make this country run, the ones who are willing to lay down their lives for it.
