There is no need for politics, religion, employers or government to be involved in the contraceptive debate. In over 91 countries contraceptives are available over the counter so why not here in the US? The American Medical Association made this recommendation close to two years ago, so why are we not acting on their recommendation? This topic is dividing us as a nation and politicians are chomping at the bit to go campaign on this. Let us simplify this by taking this off the table and let the politicians solve more pressing issues like immigration and the economy.
