President Obama has required health insurance companies to make contraceptives "free" as part of his Obamacare package. That means only women WITH health insurance would get free contraceptives. Contraceptives should not only be free for women with health insurance, but to all women and at all health clinics and drugstores. Women may not be paying for their contraceptives out of their pockets but their insurance providers are, and that could eventually raise their premium. As more & more women are given access to free contraceptives insurance companies can see their pregnancy spending go down. Win win situation.
