Copyright protection should be the same as design, and utility patents. Protection is 5 times longer for copyright patents. Why would we make pictures and pictures of words under copyright protection 100 years long. While design patents "picture patents" are only protected for 14 years? I believe we could increase the volume and speed of ideas being shared by eliminating monopoly protection and promotion by the government.
