If our government is truly "of the People, for the People, and by the People", then it follows that we the people should have the right to participate in the formation of our representatives. In order for us to be able to form a more perfect Union, we should make that day we come together to elect our representatives a national holiday. Voting is a right, responsibility, and sacred trust given to all that are eligible under our laws. Please make voting day a national holiday.
