Make CPR Certification Mandatory for High School Graduation

Created by M.R. on March 28, 2015

I have heard of too many times where someone who could have been saved has lost their lives because of how few people know basic life saving skills. If CPR certification, including modified forms for children and infants, was to be made mandatory for graduation, GED or college degrees, we would save an untold number of lives. Classes could be taught during PE or health and could also include rescue skills for choking, drowning, controlling bleeding and more. Not only would this save lives but it could spark an interest in a career in EMS or healthcare which are growing industries with many openings. The benefits to life and economy would be staggering. Please make this into law now!
