Make criminal background checks for employment unconstitutional

I am urging the United States of America to acknowledge that criminal background checks for a convicted felon to be unconstitutional. It is this ongoing, unregulated practice that is hindering hundreds of thousands of Americans from gaining meaningful employment. The practice of criminal background checks is a direct contradiction of the rehabilitation system as we know it. Once a person is released from government supervision that person should be afforded the same rights as any citizen to gain employment. If any person applying for employment has the experience to do the job they are applying for should that should be all that matters. Criminal background checks are discriminatory and should be made unconstitutional and illegal for education and employment.
