Animal cruelty is immoral. Some states have already made animal cruelty a felony charge instead of a misdemeanor. Most people and/or families consider their pets, whether domestic house pet(s) or farm animal(s), part of their family, like as if their pet was their child or sibling. Animal cruelty should NOT go unpunished.
