Currently the CSA scoring system is severely flawed. If a driver is stopped for an infraction the DOT officer has the option of a warning. However, if this warning is anything but verbal and entered as an inspection the driver and his company are subject to points added to their score. This is happening all over the country without any due process for the driver. With most NOT even knowing points were added to their score until months later due them being told it was a warning.
Accidents if NON preventable are also adding points to a drivers CSA score. They are being posted as ACCIDENT with no explanation as to whose fault it was. These are problems FMCSA and others have ignored and we at Truckers Had Enough are going to change that.
