Make the current negotiations for the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) transparent and accountable to the American public

Created by E.W. on January 20, 2013

The Trans Pacific Partnership is being conducted without transparency, accountability, and citizen concurrence. The TPP is addressing only the repeal of U.S. laws, access to federally owned lands, favorable rules to U.S. markets, and the streamlining of corporate processes that maximize profits without CONSIDERING the adverse impacts to U.S. workers.
Major areas of concern include;
o Labor rights
o Investment Provisions
o Public Procurement
o Access to Medicines
o Agricultural - use of non GMO crops
o Internet Access

This TPP negotiations must have citizen representation included in all negotiations prior to acceptance by the committee and by the U.S. CONGRESS.
