Make D-day (June 6th) a National Holiday

Created by A.K. on May 09, 2013

Our brave ancestors who risked their lives on June 6th 1944, D Day, are often taken for granted. While we have holidays honoring horrible people like Christopher Columbus who tortured many Native Americans, we have no holidays honoring those brave men who, because they risked their lives, saved our great country's future from communism. I personally would like to thank these men and I believe a national holiday would be the only way to properly thank our brave WWII soldiers!
